Today’s day trip will be fun, but it will also be challenging. Although this outing will not tax you physically, you will need to use every ounce of your brain before returning home. Today you are visiting Trap’t Escape Room Adventure in Stamford, Connecticut.
Stamford, like all of our suggested day trip destinations, is nearby. In this case just over the New York border with the Nutmeg State. Situated in Fairfield County only 38 miles from New York City. It’s about a one-hour train ride. In its own right, Stamford is a vibrant city of 130,000 residents. Many of whom commute into Manhattan each day via the Metro-North railroad.
Your purpose in Stamford today is to challenge yourself to escape from a trap room. A trap room is a room where you are locked inside and fed clues which will facilitate your escape from it within a set period. There will be several tasks which you must complete in sequence to liberate yourself from the trap.
Many participants at Trap’t Escape Adventure come in large groups. However, the most fun you can have would be with a smaller group of two or three people. Regardless of the size of your group; you will have one hour to figure it all out. There are currently five themed rooms running at Trap’t:
Time Chaser: Race for the Cure
Abducted: Escape from the Madman
VR Escape Rooms
Tremors on the Tracks
Each is an exciting and unique option. However, some are more difficult than others. So, gather your most clever friends and or family members. You'll need them and remember that every problem has a solution. If you fail to find it, at least you will have had an enjoyable time.
